- Various regulations refer to the obligatory nature of the municipalities to have censuses of activities, of note are Law 20/2009, of December 4, on the prevention and environmental control of activities (environmental database), Law 18/2017 of August 1 on Trade, services and fairs (census of companies engaged in economic activity and the provision of services), Decree 112/2010, of August 31, approving the Regulation on public shows and recreational activities (register of establishments and shows of recreational activities), Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of March 14, 2007, establishing an infrastructure for spatial information in the European Community (Inspire) (census of productive and industrial activities). Also indirectly, Law 18/2020, of December 28, on the facilitation of economic activity (verification plans for reported activities).
